Translator by room220 (“us”, “we”, or “our”) operates the website and the Translator by room220 mobile application (the “Service”). This page informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of personal data when you use our Service. By using our Service, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.
When using our Service, your speech and text input are collected. When contacting our support team, we collect your e-mail address and its content. If you sign up for a data storage account, your login credentials are collected.
Use of Data
We use your speech and text input to provide language transcription and translation. We use your e-mail information for responding to questions and improving the Service based on user feedback. Login credentials are used to verify your identity when requesting data access.
We use Google Cloud Platform and Apple Speech Recognition to facilitate transcription and translation services. Google Cloud Platform does not use any of your content for any purpose except to provide you with these services. Furthermore, Google Cloud Platform does not make your data available to the public, or share it with anyone else, except as necessary to provide the transcription and translation services. Google Cloud Platform must store your data for a short period of time in order to complete the service requests. It is typically deleted in a few hours. Security of Data
The security of your data is important to us, but remember that no method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage is 100% secure. While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your Personal Data, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.
Subscription Terms and Cancellation
Payment for subscriptions will be charged to your iTunes Account upon confirmation of purchase. Your subscription automatically renews unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24-hours before the end of the current period.
Subscriptions may be managed and auto-renewal may be turned off in Settings. See detailed instructions below, or visit https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT202039.
1. Go to Settings > [your name] > iTunes & App Store.
2. Tap your Apple ID at the top of the screen.
3. Tap View Apple ID and sign in if requested.
4. Tap Subscriptions.
5. Find and tap your Translator by room220 subscription.
6. Choose Cancel Subscription (iOS 10) or turn off Automatics Renewal.
Note: If you do not see a Translator by room220 subscription, make sure that you are signed in with the Apple ID that you used to subscribe originally.
